Your Data, Your Rules

Privacy is not a marketing layer on top of Insights. It is part of the reason the product exists at all.

Personal health and life data can be incredibly useful when it helps you notice patterns over time. It can also be deeply sensitive. That is why Insights is built around a simple rule: your records should serve you, not an advertising system, a broker, or a hidden analytics pipeline.

Built for ownership

Insights keeps data close to the user. The app stores information on-device, supports encrypted cloud sync, and avoids the standard playbook of stuffing third-party trackers into every screen. We do not run ads, and we do not sell personal data.

Control what stays

Retention is also something you can understand and control. Different plans support different history windows, which keeps the tradeoffs explicit instead of burying them in fine print. If you decide to remove your account, account deletion is meant to actually delete the data tied to it.

Privacy supports better products

This is not just a values statement. It changes how the product feels. When a tracking tool is built to help you rather than profile you, it becomes easier to trust it with the details that make pattern discovery worthwhile in the first place.

That is the standard we want Insights to meet as it grows.
